Responsibilities include working as a primary athletic trainer for specific sports as assigned by the head athletic trainer. assisting student-athletes with overall treatment, care, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. Assisting with the daily operation of the athletic training facility, working in conjunction with team physicians in the treatment of injuries and illnesses. Documentation of injuries and maintenance of medical records for all students-athletes and any other duties as assigned by the head athletic trainer.

Bachelor's degree in athletic training, physical education or related field. Requires a minimum of one year of experience in athletic training with NATA certification and CPR first aid certification. Working knowledge management administrative skills.

Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a criminal background check as mandated by Tennessee State University.
